Dawson To Substitute For Travelling Andy (Thursday 27 March 2003)

In the past 24 hours Andy's plans have changed dramatically. The early return to the UK has been abandoned in favour of a short trip round North America, returning from Vancouver as planned on 30th April.

The arrival of Ali Dawson has also changed the Riders' plans. Originally Dawson was planning to look for accommodation in Whistler for a month or two, but Andy's early departure from the Palace has left a spare room.

In addition to taking over Andy's room, Dawson is buying most of Andy's snowboarding kit. He has arrived in Whistler from a four-month tour of Australia, New Zealand and the USA, so arrived without any warm clothing and unprepared for Whistler's weather.

Dawson starts his snowboarding career with a lesson on 29th March and is looking forward to riding with the two remaining Riders.
