Bob has been snowboarding since 1990 when he first rode a snowboard in Andorra, this was supplemented by a weekly trip to a dry slope in Gloucester on a Sunday night. He has managed to fit in a week to 10 days each year since then including France, Italy, Switzerland and Canada.
Bob made his first trip to Whistler Canada in March 2000 to visit a friend called Dom who moved to Vancouver after uni. He has been back each March since and last year enjoyed over 1.5 meters of fresh powder over he 10 day period. This made Whistler the resort of choice for the season of justice, a life-long dream.
Bob can mostly be found cruising down long runs, popping of little humps and bumps along the way. He also has a dabble in the park and is gaining confidence riding the pipe. His best run ever was Peak to Creek on the official Day of Justice in March 2002.
Bob rides a 2002 Option Freeplus 157 purchased from Westbeach snowboard shop in Vancouver. This replaced the aging Burton Brushie Pro which has now retired to the South of France for weekend snowboard breaks to Isola 2000.
