Dreams of a massive 4x4 pickup truck were brought back down to reality soon after the Riders arrived in Vancouver. One of their hosts in Vancouver (Mark) worked for a Ford dealer, and offered to find something to suit the Riders' demands.

When Mark heard that the Riders were hoping to spend under $5K he began suggesting a 4x4 car rather than a truck, and when he found a Subaru Legacy for $2K he advised them that they were unlikely to find a better deal.

The Riders test drove the car on the Monday following their arrival in Vancouver, then set off for Whistler on the Tuesday in their very own Wagon Of Justice.
